What a great experience. We loved this place. Our original plan was to go skiing and snowshoeing but it was so cold with temperatures as low as -43 at night that we couldn't. So we stayed cozy and warm in this cute little cabin. Loved it!! We will be back for sure.

Glad you found the Mt. Thyme cozy. Next time, we'll get you out keeps you close to house!!

Quaint, Cute and Cozy!

Absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we walked in, we were in love with the old-fashion charm and the skillful creativeness of this 1940 Guest House. There was plenty of room for 5 of us to chill after a long day out on the trails, and relax to some good oldie tunes on the record there is a conversation all it's own. We always choose our accommodation with the safety and comfort of our dogs foremost, and we were not disappointed. Thanks Dave for being super accommodating and plowing extra parking for our dog truck and trailer.

You are an enthusiastic bunch....Looking forward to another Dog Sled Mail Run next January...and Dog Sledding anytime!!

All is “well”in WELLS

We didn’t really know what to expect but we came away very satisfied with our stay and our visit to the area. The hospitality and friendliness of the people we met made a very positive impression on us. We needed some addt’l items and they were provided without hesitation -just like a neighbour might do. Our accommodations were cozy, bedding colourful and comfortable and the added art and vintage items were unique and fun. Our meal at the Bear Paw was outstanding and we totally loved our two days at Barkerville. Thank you for making our girls getaway a resounding success!!

Thanks for your stay! The Mountain Thyme always seems to charm people, and I'm glad you felt its magic! Dave

We enjoyed the creative, colourful, comfortable space with everything we needed for a pleasant stay close to the centre of the action in Wells. Very handy for zipping up to Barkerville.

Thanks for staying with us, and your kind words! Cheryl

Great find

Booked this place due to the location of Barkerville on a 2200 miles road trip with family from UK. it was for 1night and there was more than plenty of room for the 5 of us. Loved that we still had wifi even though no cell service. We enjoyed making our own dinner and clean up was fun with the most unique sink I’ve ever seen. Fully recommend this place to anyone. The hostess was really great as well. All 8 can say is enjoy your stay!!!

Another Great Stay!

We book the Mountain Thyme annually for our ski group and it's a perfect place to socialize. We love the BBQ on the deck, and its central location. Thanks again, and we'll see you next year too.
